Dr. Boerman completed her optometry degree in New York City, and pursued a residency in refractive surgery at Wang Vision Institute. Dr. Wang was impressed by her talents and asked her to join his clinical management team at the completion of her residency. She currently serves as Manager of Clinical Operations, directs the co-management program with local eye care professionals, and supervises the residency program.
